Performance piece: The End of Labor is to Gain Leisure (Aristotle)

CONVERSIONs | one-night stands month-long mini festival in April 2010 showcased emerging and established artists at BronxArtSpace in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx.  Each night CONVERSIONs focused on a different medium under a larger curatorial theme that set the tone for each weekend culminating in a final evening of performance and music.

For the show, I created an organic shape out of pipe cleaners that grew while I worked diligently for three hours non-stop and without interacting or speaking with the attendees during the opening night.
