Julia's work speaks on the social and political powers that affect her, as an immigrant Latina woman and her community.  Her images are compositions of vintage photographs manipulated with modern technology.  She explores the historical significance of the imagery with regard to present social struggles.

She believes that her role as an artist is to give society the tools to resist discrimination and protest all other injustices.  Julia is an Argentine visual artist based in New York.
